I passed my second CCIE (Service Provider) on JAN 17 th.

I extensively used the wonderful simulation software, “Dynamips”.

I had my IE mentor lab setup on the Dynamips.

Many, many THANKS to the Dynamips/Dynagen authors!!!

Pls find the .net files I used for IE labs. This is based on the attached the lab diagram.

I used to turn on only the required devices.

I also used small sample labs to test various L2 inter connect scenarios and CsC.

Hope this will be of help.

Also real time experience on my company’s MPLS network helped me a lot in preparing for CCIE lab.

How long did you prepare CCIE SP Lab ? and you used only WB from iementor ?

Initial configuration file was very simple. I have attached a sample file.

It took almost 1 year (on and off) with IE work book and of course other books, like
Cisco Press - MPLS Configuration on Cisco IOS Software etc.

Also I got training on “Implementing Cisco MPLS” and “Implementing Cisco MPLS Traffic engineering and other Features” from Cisco Learning.
