| I am trying to set ospf to run over frame. I know by default it wont go unless you either use the IP OSPF NETWORK BROADCAST statement or the NEIGHBOR..I tried eitehr one and it doesnt take it ...the neighbor statement doesnt show up on ym config after typing it. I wouldnt think IOS versin would matter dealin with basic ospf configs. AM i missing something. THis is running over sub-interfaces. |

| Never mind!! I got it figured out...got to pay closer attention to my ospf configuration..jus a lil rusty on ospf, which is why this program is really good... |

Here's the best doc I've seen on running OSPF over NBMA networks:
Initial Configurations for OSPF over Non-Broadcast Links
It's important to note which options are available, especially if you sit for the CCIE lab. The lab can and will include constraints on what can be configured, forcing you to use a method you wouldn't prefer normally (even mixing and matching methods in many cases).
