I assume this is the NAC you're referring to?

Yes, I did think of that. But isn't it just some some knid of service which you run on windows. Not really something you need to emulate in a specific way.

Having said that, you do have to do a number of registry hacks to get Call manager to work in a VM, so may be it's the same deal here?

It's done already, i have NAC Appliance (as it is called) running, both the NAC CAM Manager, NAC CAS Server, the new NAC Profiler and the very new NAC Guest Server. All under vmware. Only thinh thats tricky is the licensing, right now i use a trial license, but i have seen on another forum that there is a way around it.

There really is not that much trickery involved as these products already run on a linux kernel in the appliance. If you wan't i can do a quick guide when i get some free time for it.

is it possible to implement NAC Appliance on normal computers? and NOT buy any Cisco Module or server???
basically, all i need to know is that if i can implement on normal computers to simulate a small out of band campus (mayb adding 2 NICs on one computer to implement NAS)

Just had the time to go through the emulation of NAC and its working perfectly.
I just made a video on how easy it's to emulate it, hope this help everybody on their studies.

For the lic part of it just download a trial from cisco

Thanks for nice video. Earlier I just know know NAC full form which network interface card. Your video helps me in knowing more about it.
