Hi all
I don`t have a powerfull machine at this time (1.6 centrino 2mb cache and 1 GB ram) and am using its original windows Xp Home edition.
Will windows Xp professional improve the usage of memory and cpu and subsequently have a better performance in GNS3?

Most likely not, professional will probably steal addition cycles to run additional services that are running on the home version. I've never made a side by side comparison, but I know there are functions associated with domains and such that aren't available on the home version.

The memory management is the same between the 2 versions to the best of my knowledge, so no gain there.
