Hi all.

I've already installed the free VMware player (2.5.2) on my PC, and got an image of Cisco ASA. The configuration of ASA was made only for the access of ASDM, and console access. But I'm having a problem with this one, which outputs the following message:

"Your ASA image has a version number 8.0(2) which is not supported by ASDM 6.0(2)"

I knew recently that Fiddler would help to solve this problem, in a topic posted in this site, but it just didn't change anything.

Show version of ASA:

It seems to me somewhat confused, because the versions of both ASA and ASDM are compatible.

I'm a just new user of VMware, and I hope that someone can help me.

(sorry by the vocabulary...)

Thanks for now.

Without Fiddler it is not going to work, because see the output.

The show version does not give the Hardware information.

"CiscoASA up 8 hours 26 mins

Hardware:____ , 128 MB RAM, CPU Unknown Model 2193 MHz
Internal ATA Compact Flash, 512MB
BIOS Flash Firmware Hub @ 0xffe00000, 1024KB "

I am looking at other options right now to see if I can do away with Fiddler.
